Our actions
ATD Fourth World develops actions at three levels:
- Local actions in poor neighborhoods to meet with the people who have difficult lives and to create links of mutual exchange. We use tools such as our culture and the sharing of knowledge to encourage these meetings.
- Actions of citizen participation to allow the meeting and exchange between people from different backgrounds and places and to facilitate the recognition of the sharing of knowledge of those who live in poverty situations.
- Actions at political level to hear the voice of the voiceless, challenge public opinion and governments so they can take action to eradicate poverty.
